Curioser & Curioser??

1901 Census doesnt help, 4 in the whole country age 0 - 50 -100

Walter Fleshbourne 5 Lincs Louth Lincoln Lindsey Louth

George Fleshbourne 10 Lincs Grimsby Grimsby Lincolnshire Gt Grimsby

John Fleshbourne 29 Lough Lincs Southampton Fareham Barman

George Fleshbourne 38 Scotland Glanmorgan Grimsby Lincolnshire Gt Grimsby Blacksmith

I give up :o

let me try to enlighten you.

walter fleshbourne aged 5 joined the lincolns 1916. b louth 1895

george e fleshbourne 10 joined the 1st lincolns 1914 kia 1-7-16 on the somme. b grimsby

john william fleshbourne 29 born louth 1870 died 1906,don't know anymore about.

george e fleshbourne 38 b glanmorgan scotland, father of the above george, was a corporal in the rdc grimsby during ww1.

i think the w fleshbourne awarded the t f e medal in 1911 is walter fleshbourne b 1877 at louth.he is the uncle of the walter born in 1895.

although the walter born in 1877 is not on the 1901 census and i can find no record online of his death.

and the other john william fleshbourne named on my signature is my grandfather he joined the 1st lincolns in 1921 aged 20.

i hope this answers a few things

cheers

andy
