JustinL Posted 12 November , 2004 Share Posted 12 November , 2004 I'm researching two Jewish recruits to the London Regiment: J.M. Levy (reg. no. 278) and Ralph Paul Levy (reg. no. 280). The latter became a captain in the 8th Middlesex and was awarded the Military Cross. I believe the former was his younger brother, Joseph Martin Levy. Can anyone please tell me when these two are likely to have signed up (based on their reg. nos.) and in which battalion they would have started?
