little bob Posted 12 June , 2015 Share Posted 12 June , 2015 Ancestry has Service Records for both John and William, William, Pte., 36477 12th Battalion Cheshire Regiment died of Malaria at 31st C C S Greece 30 August 1917. clk Posted 12 June , 2015 Share Posted 12 June , 2015 Hi Simon, If you hover over the image of the card a red box "more information about this person" appears. Click on that, and it takes you to another screen, which again shows a picture of the index card, by the side of which is another box, where you put the PA number in. Click on the search button, and it takes you through to the actual register. His entry is at the bottom of the page number 37269. The image initially is quite small, but if you hover over the top of the page a black options bar appears, including a magnifying glass, which opens the page in a separate window.
