A compilation of eight illustrated 22-centimetre square soft-cover booklets in a slip-case, produced by a collaboration between the United Service Institute of India and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

The set is edited by Rana T.S. Chhina and every booklet contains excellent photographs, many of them new to myself.

The OVERVIEW contains 42 pages and the other seven booklets each contain 24 pages.

This set of booklets makes an excellent teaching aid as the reading is not heavy, the illustrations are excellent, and relevant facts and figures are tabulated.

If any Member has responsibilities for a school, college or institution library then the set will be a useful addition to the Great War shelves.

(If you order from India then ask them to use cardboard strengtheners to protect the slip-case corners before packaging for post.)
