Guest Sylvia Dorey Posted 13 November , 2004 Share Posted 13 November , 2004 Matthew John Sumners 2nd Yorks Regiment Group 7 POW at Cohimnity or Gimnity Germany it is hard to make out, born 1887 St Ives Cornwall.can anyone give info on this POW camp, on photo his uniform is cheese cutter hat with tarten band plus badge a cutaway jacket and kilt,knee length stockings with putties another person beside him is dressed in a uniform looks like a guard but I,could be wrong date says 1914-1918 grateful for any info ( thanks Titch) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
