Guest Cidix Posted 13 November , 2004 Share Posted 13 November , 2004 Hi - new member here - I have been reading various posts and seen these initials a couple of times - I take this means 'Soldiers who Died in the Great War' ? It would also appear that the information on this database is not necessarily the same as the CWGC information? Where can one get access to the SDGW? Many thanks, Carol
9th Black Watch Posted 13 November , 2004 Share Posted 13 November , 2004 Carol, Soldiers Died in the Great War was published in 1921 in 81 parts covering the various regiments/corps in the British army. It's now available on CD ROM from the Naval and Military Press. I think your local library should also be able to let you have access to a copy. All the best, Derek
