SDGW?

Hi - new member here - I have been reading various posts and seen these initials a couple of times - I take this means 'Soldiers who Died in the Great War' ?

It would also appear that the information on this database is not necessarily the same as the CWGC information?

Where can one get access to the SDGW?

Carol,

Soldiers Died in the Great War was published in 1921 in 81 parts covering the various regiments/corps in the British army.

It's now available on CD ROM from the Naval and Military Press. I think your local library should also be able to let you have access to a copy.

Hello Carol and welcome. If you only need some entries from SDGW for your family research just post the details of the persons on this forum and your message will atract forum-members with answers like flies are to ..... well you know :D
