READING THE POSTING ON THE SITE ,I READ ABOUT " ABSENT VOTERS LIST", WHAT THE GEN ON THESE AND HOW DO YOU ACCESS THEM ? John_Hartley Posted 13 November , 2004 Share Posted 13 November , 2004 Mick You'll no doubt find it at either the local history library that covers the Ilford area or, alternatively, at the Essex County Archives. As the name implies, they are lists of those eligible to vote but who were away from their home on active service.
