Leics 2/5 October 1917?

Hi

anyone help me with a casualty I need info on?

He was killed on 14/10/17 and was in 2/5 Leics and was Sjt Henry Chapman.

Any info on movemewnts before would be great plus maps etc.

There was no major battle on 14th October. So far as I can tell, 59th Division, which included 179th Brigade, was still in the front line following their attack on 26th September. At that time, the division was just short of Gravenstafel. I suspect that he may have been killed by a stray shell or such like.

The relative thinks that he was in this area : "brewery and the suberb of Leaurette "

Anyone know where this is/was and supply a map or pics??

Asking alot but this guy is so keen to find out.
