Bob Coulson Posted 16 November , 2004 Share Posted 16 November , 2004 Bit of a puzzler with this gentleman, any help would be appreciated. He recieved a temp commission with the Yorkshire Regiment on Aug 28th 1918 and was posted to the 2nd battalion in October 1918 and was WIA at Roisin in November. All above confirmed by battalion history, however it goes on to say he died of his wounds quoting "Times- 3/12/18" I cannot find him on CWGC, ODGW or Cross of Sacrifice. Just trying to find out if he did indeed die of his wounds and is not commemorated? Bit of a long shot but if anyone has any info or could do a Times look up it would be much appreciated. Bob. Bob Coulson Posted 16 November , 2004 Author Share Posted 16 November , 2004 Terry, Thanks for your efforts but afraid this is not him, already have this man on my list, being Middlesbrough he's local to me. William Arthur Hall is proving to be a right puzzle as to whether he died or not. Bob.
