His MIC says: Pte 13456 6th Northants Pte 32020 Bedf R (cwgc says 1st Beds) Entered France 26/7/15 (which fits well with the 54th Brigade entering France 26th july) K in A (cwgc says 3/12/1916) CWGC adds no further info other than his grave is at ST.
