Suffolk Regiment ? Picture

As I can't leave old photographs in junk shops I picked this up the other day. Unfortunately there is nothing on it to identify it, except that the photographer was in Ipswich.

Regrettably the insignia are too small for a positive identification, but does anybody recognize the battalion or location?

(I can send a very detailed scan to anybody who wants it if they have broadband).

It appears to be an assortment of Officers of various Line Regiments,as they are apparently wearing different Cap Badges?

I don't know about war-time censorship in WWI, but I looks as though some of the cap badges and collar dogs have been "obliterated."

The light/dark khaki shirt "rule" is not apparent and most seem to be wearing a sword. Perhaps early in the war?

That would lead me to guess that is was an official photo of some kind vice a personal picture.
