hmsk212 Posted 18 November , 2004 Share Posted 18 November , 2004 Hi Mark Yes it is quite common for a man to have more than one card with different variations of his name, that is why I generally search using Corps and number and rarely put a name into the search field. Usually one is a 14/15 Star mic or a Silver War Badge mic and the other is for War & Victory Medals. I have come across men with 3 cards during my researches. hmsk212 Posted 18 November , 2004 Share Posted 18 November , 2004 I have a Certificate of Service to a man in the MGC with the surname of LAURENCE on it, his 14/15 Star mic is spelt LAWRANCE and his bwm & vic mic is spelt LAWRENCE. Makes research a bit complicated. Steve
