11th Queen's Posted 7 December , 2015 Share Posted 7 December , 2015 Evening all, Does anyone have or know of a definitive list of WW1 books published by William Kimber? I'm currently reading The Somme 1916 by Norman Gladden (pub. 1974 by WK) and it got me thinking how many others are out there. I have a fair few already but I'm interested in finding others as WK seemed to publish lots of WW1 books between the 60s and early 80s. So if anyone has a list it would be much appreciated. Thanks Simon
seaJane Posted 8 December , 2015 Share Posted 8 December , 2015 This is the results list of a search on Publisher=William Kimber and Keyword=1914-1918: http://copac.jisc.ac.uk/search?&keyword=1914%2D1918&pub=William+Kimber (the search engine is, however, not infallible, as a few 1939-1945 books have been included in the trawl - sorry). Dave G Posted 17 December , 2015 Share Posted 17 December , 2015 There was a small bibliography of William Kimber books published in July, 1996, compiled/edited by Tim Scott. The title was The Kimber List - A Bibliography of Books Published by William Kimber. One upon a time I was going to put together a complete collection of William Kimber WWI and WWII titles of which there are over 200 in total if memory serves.
