McMichael 11689 dies 26/02/1917. R. Innis. Fus. Lady reader asks why family story says Hugh dies in Gallipoli ... but CWGC has him buried at Le Touret? Local obituary of the time says his 'father believes he was killed at the Dardanelles' ... Having checked LLT, I note that 2 R.Innis.Fus were never at Gallipoli! Wonder where the story came from?
