Khaki Posted 24 December , 2015 Share Posted 24 December , 2015 I enjoy reading books such as Devil in the Drum, As from Kemmel Hill, Some Desperate Glory, anyway that gives you an idea the style of GW books that I am talking about. I have always liked the thread 'What WW1 books are you reading'. I got the bright idea to scan through it and pen down any that met my ideas of enjoyable reading. It didn't last very long, there was too many recommendations/reviews, all very interesting but I am not the most patient searcher and after five or so pages I stopped and wondered, is there a better way of seeking out the type of books that I like. Not being much of a computer person, is there a simple 'forum' way of compiling a list of biographies that I might like. thanks to all for any advice khaki
paulgranger Posted 24 December , 2015 Share Posted 24 December , 2015 Williamrev of this parish had a thread on the subject of 'memoir' volumes a while ago, which should come up on a search.
