ryank Posted 22 November , 2004 Share Posted 22 November , 2004 Hello hope some kind person can help i am looking for information on my Grandfather William Ryan born 1898 he served with 2/8 LIVERPOOL KINGS REGIMENT. He enlisted 1916 i obtained his Reg number from the medal card = 307767, 370390 Iam interested in his next of kin /address he was pensioned out of the army and died in 1932 leaving his wife with seven young children.My father who is now 82years old and is in very bad health can not recall his father as he was only 10 years old when his father died . my father served as a Dems Gunner on the Atlantic /Russian convoyes durring the 2nd World war and iam trying to obtain information on him as well.but due to his very bad health he is unable to communicate with me.
