Equally Sassoon threw his MC medal ribbon (but not medal as legend had it) into the sea at Formby where I like to walk on the beach. Until I found out the latter fact I used to look at every bit of round detritus when I was up there.

Why would you be looking for a round bit, when you thought he had thrown away a cross ?

You're not ex-Intelligence Corps are you, by any chance ?
