Stuart Basson Posted 25 November , 2004 Share Posted 25 November , 2004 Apologies if this is the wrong forum - or even the wrong war! The Guardian's "The Northerner" section reports this: "a scrupulous metal detector wants to return a war medal he's dug up to anyone who knows relatives of Private 6131 T H Parker, Northumberland Fusiliers." Apparently the story appeared in the Northumberland Gazette, whose website is here: http://www.northumberlandtoday.co.uk/
