Guest DWH Posted 26 November , 2004 Share Posted 26 November , 2004 I am researching a WW 1 luger. I have posted an inquiry on this forum concerning the German Officer that it once belonged to. I have received some help and guidance. I might as well start looking for information on the American Soldier that is also associated with this item. His name is John Martin he was a member of the 6th Ballon Air Service American Expeditionary Force attached to the 26th division. I have a date associated with the name of Sept 15, 1918. The date is noted with other information written inside the holster in a dedication to a friend to whom he gave the luger. Again, I am new to all this and would appreciate any assistance or guidance. Thanks.
