Mark Hone Posted 10 November , 2002 Share Posted 10 November , 2002 I gave a talk last week at the excellent Queen's Lancashire Regiment Museum at Fulwood Barracks, Preston. Forum members may be interested to know that the Museum has embarked on an ambitious programme of reprinting the Official histories (including World war One of course) of the regiment's antecedents: the East Lancs, South Lancs and Loyal North Lancs. These are very nice hardbound editions-quite pricey by new book standards but a snip compared to second-hand copies of the originals. For further details write to the museum c/o: Regimental Headquarters The Queen's Lancashire Regiment Fulwood Barracks Preston Lancashire PR2 8AA The museum sells a wide range of interesting stuff and a new catalogue will be appearing shortly
