Ken S. Posted 26 May , 2016 Share Posted 26 May , 2016 Not sure why Mr. Zuber chose this regiment in particular, but it's good to see any German regimental history translated into English. No doubt there will be some who crawl out of the woodwork to find some sort of hidden agenda. Wonder who'll be first to go on over to amazon to drop a 1-star review this time and how long that will take? http://terencezuber.com/germanregiment.php
Martin Feledziak Posted 26 May , 2016 Share Posted 26 May , 2016 That is good to know. The original histories are important documents since most of the original official wartime documents were lost in the bombing in WWII. I have just viewed his web site and I shall be investing. Sounds like just the type of project I would be very interested in. I hope he considers doing a few more regiments.
trenchtrotter Posted 26 May , 2016 Share Posted 26 May , 2016 I have a copy, yet to read. It does look good. As stated any regimental or unit history welcome. More German stuff available nowadays but still little in English on the French. TT
joerookery Posted 28 May , 2016 Share Posted 28 May , 2016 This looks interesting as Martin said. Thank you for bringing my attention to it. Kindle book looks a little bit pricy.
