Good morning,

I wonder if someone could kindly suggest a book giving an  introduction to China in the Great War?

Thank you,

Yperman

Another book is

The Chinese Labour Corps 1916-1920 by Gregory James, a Forum member, which is described in  https://ww1centenary.net/2013/12/05/ww1-books-the-chinese-labour-corps-1916-20/ and is nearly 1300 pages long.

The Introduction is here

http://www.academia.edu/10010177/The_Chinese_Labour_Corps_1916-1920_

There is a previous GWF topic

Cheers

Maureen

This is an older book which I remember getting out of Hong Kong public library in around 1990 when I lived there and finding it good

https://www.amazon.co.uk/China-Western-Front-Britains-Work-force/dp/0950833002

Googling China on the Western Front also brings up a Chatham House publication, but my browser warns me off the site, and a video clip
