WW1 Diary

I have just come across a book on Kindle entitled, "Miss Cavell was Shot", by or rather edited by, Monica Kendall.

It is the diary of a British girl trapped in Brussels during the war. Her friends and relations were involved with Edith Cavell, and at leas tone friend was very lucky not to be shot as well (her take is that Cavell was shot because she was English, and not for what she did).

I haven't read more than extratcs at the moment, but it looks interesting.
