Training and inspection. Givengy 20. Preparations to move into the line. Relieving the 1/6 Kings Liv Reg as left support battalion entering the Bdc (?) Reserve. Givenghy 21. At 00.30 has bombardment of battalion hq Windy Terrace The battalion orderly room and the runners dugout were blown in. Serious casualties were suffered by officers and men who were engaged in rescuing the men who had been buried.
