Hello,

I've recently acquired an antique photo of my distant relative. Presumably of Estonian origin. Could anyone help me with identifying the country origin of this insignia please? That would greatly help with further geneological research.

It looks like insignia and uniform from the 1930s and not the First World War.  The caps and style of uniform are heavily Russian influenced

I am glad to help.   I think that the photo is from the pre-WW2 period.
