Were all General Officers cap badges in the GW made of woven bullion?

Bullion was the most common type, but the badge was also produced as OSD bronze and fire gilt.

Hi Khaki

They also wore bronze cap badges, as can be seen in this 1918/1919 photograph. If anyone recognises this chap, I would be delighted to here.

Thanks FROGSMILE and Sepoy for the replies, interesting photograph, I wish I could assist with an ID, he has that familiar look. Can we see more of the photo or is that all there is?
