Blackblue Posted 18 December , 2004 Share Posted 18 December , 2004 Alan, I suggest you go to the link at the top left of the page entitled 'The Long Long Trail' and have a read. 306301 was his regimental number and he was in the Tank Corps. You can download his Medal Index Card at the following link. http://www.documentsonline.nationalarchive...1&resultcount=8 The Tank Corps was arranged in battalions. To track his service you will need to know which battalion he was in. I am not sure if you will be able to tell which battalion he was in from his MIC or the medal rolls (which may be searched after obtaining reference numbers from his MIC) but it is worth a shot. If you download his MIC and post it here perhaps someone will be able to assist. There was also a Wolf Rosenberg who died in WW2. Any relation? http://www.cwgc.org/cwgcinternet/casualty_...asualty=2813176 Rgds Tim D
Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 18 December , 2004 Share Posted 18 December , 2004 The medal roll should in theory give his Battlion(s) otherwise try a search for his service record.
