Wienand Drenth Posted 20 December , 2004 Share Posted 20 December , 2004 Hello Jay, 1/1st London Fld Coy transferred 23 Dec. 1914 from the 1st London Division to 6th Division, and served with that division for the remainder of the war. The division was in August 1915 involved in the battle of Hooge (according to the OoB volume 1), so great chance that the field company was in that area around Ypres as well. Hope this helps. Jay Oen Posted 21 December , 2004 Author Share Posted 21 December , 2004 Thanks Wienand, With all the transfers and such it's difficult keep track what division you are interested in! Tell me, was the info you gave me available online, or was it in something in your personal library, or just your expertise and experience? Just curious and tring to learn what I can. Thanks again, JAY
