Chris Posted 20 December , 2004 Share Posted 20 December , 2004 Hi all Have been researching the following soldier and just have a quick question for any Tank Corps experts. Pte. 1497 Maunsell Middleton - 1/5th Lincs - later 305133 Tank Corps. His name is actually incorrectly given on the MICs as Manuel. I know from his 5th Lincs number of 1497 that he was a pre war Territorial soldier with the BAttalion, and i guess from the lack of a 6 digit territorial number that he may have transferred to the TAnk Corps before early 1917. Is any Tank expert able to tell from his number of 305133 roughly when he would have transferred, or is not possible to do just from his number?
