Loyal North Lancs Regiment

I was hoping that someone could help. I'm tracing an ancestor of mine (Harry Scoles) who was from Little Lever in Lancs and was killed near the end of the War.

From CWGC I have found an H. Scholes (no. 22817) of the Loyal N. Lancs who died 31/10/18 but would like to know if it is the Harry Scholes I'm searching for. By knowing either where he was from (eg. where he enlisted) and/or his parents' name/address I could confirm.

Is there any other information source available, eg. regimental records / books / diaries that could assist ?

best wishes,

Richard West.

Hi Richard,

Soldiers died in the great war gives 4 Harold Scholes, 3 from Lancs and 1 from Yorkshire. The one you think might be him the only extra info is enlisted in Bradshaw, Lancs.
