The author is David O'Mara (c'est moi!) and, covering the actions from the River Somme to the north of Serre between August 1914 and June 1916 (along with a section (including battlefield tour) on the Battle of Bapaume in January 1871) - including coverage of both Battles of Hébuterne (October 1914 and June 1915) - it covers a lot more than just the French units in the area of Serre! (Maricourt, Carnoy, Mametz, Fricourt, La Boisselle, Ovillers, Thiepval, Beaumont-Hamel, Sailly-Saillisel, Moislains, Le Transloy, Flers, Longueval, Beaucourt, Bazentin, Auchonvillers, Aveluy, Grandcourt, etc etc).
