Good to see all those Chris - thanks! The story of the Turkish Forestry Berthier's is an interesting one, and they pop up occassionally here.

Group shots of the selection so far:

I am missing the original 1892 bayonet with the original thinner muzzle ring but have both types of grips with full quillon and cut/short quillon. I'm not quite sure how this collection developed but now I don't have enough rifles/carbines for the bayonets!

Splendid collection. I find the cruciform blade with brass handle a sheer delight

Just picked up another - nothing particularly special but with German Silver hilt and hooked quillon and a frog which was important because this was intended to add to my early war French mannequin who is currently without a frog/bayonet (OK he is an officer but.....I generally display him with a Lebel so this will work)

Cramped quarters

Nice collection. From the clothing I presume that you must be a current serving member of the AEF.

Again a nice collection.

You know the solution, it's an easy fix. Get matching rifles

Very nice collection, the last Lebel M1886 is in AB range so i assume its from Chatellerault production.
