dorrie Posted 16 January , 2005 Share Posted 16 January , 2005 Whilst researching a soldier Sergeant P W Doe died 23/1/1919 he is registerd as being in 1/4th Lincs, he moved to the Labour Corps. He finally transferred to the Clearing Office. Can anybody shed any light on what the Clearing Office was? As he died well after the armistice is it to do with hospitalisation?
