ZIL Posted 26 February , 2021 Share Posted 26 February , 2021 I appreciate this is a long shot but I am looking for any info on the markings on this case.It is a 1916 Wolfsky & co containing a 1917 French Ltd compass with opposing double arrows indicating bought out of service. CWGC gives only Earl Peter May, Pte, 39237, 12th (West Somerset Yeomanry) Bn, Somerset Light Infantry as a possible candidate amongst those who died.
