Landsturm Posted 14 April , 2005 Share Posted 14 April , 2005 Champagne was a scene for fighting in late September 1915. For my next comic-book project I`m searching for a unit holding the line AFTER these battles. Somme-Py, during December 1915. My sources are limited and I know you can find the answer for me
CROONAERT Posted 14 April , 2005 Share Posted 14 April , 2005 I can tell you that the 2eme, 5eme, 8eme, and 9eme Regiments de Zouaves were all involved in the fights in the Champagne from 25th September 1915. Whether any were still around afterwards, I couldn't tell you. Dave.
