Howard Posted 29 June Share Posted 29 June This is interesting:-https://brilliantmaps.com/ww1-western-front/ Perhaps better with the sound turned down a bit. The sheer amount of work plotting unit positions day by day is impressive. Howard
AOK4 Posted 29 June Share Posted 29 June This is the link to the maps: http://www.carto1418.fr/ I use it every now and then (bearing in mind that the German units later in the war are rather incomplete).
Biltea Posted 1 July Share Posted 1 July Hi Howard Thanks for the info on this day-by-day map of the Western Front. I can appreciate that a lot of work has gone into producing it. However - I find it very difficult to read, on account of the strong colours used (orange/blue/red for the British/French/Germans). Is there any way to remove these colours, or at least to lighten them, please? If there was, it wold be much easier to see what was going on underneath! Thanks - Bill
