I'm researching about cricket involving New Zealanders during WW1. Any information or comments would be welcome.

You could try the NZ Cricket Club to see if there is any thing.

I know books have been done on the All Blacks who enlisted, and which the British have done the same with the Cricketing MCG and its members who enlisted.

But mostly books have been done about the British Football clubs of the Great war, but not much on the Cricket side

Sorry I don't have any NZ members, but some Aussie cricketers show up just a few I have;

Although not born in New Zealand, Hugh Montagu Butterworth Rifle Brigade (KIA 25/09/15 at Bellewaerde) played for Wanganui, Nomads and Wanganui school.

I would recommend books by two authors:

Nigel McCreary - "The Final Wicket - First Class Cricketers killed in action during World War One".

Christopher Sandford - "The Final Over: The Cricketers of Summer 1914"

They both contain information on cricketers who died during the First World War; the former will be what you're looking for, although the latter will be useful as well.

They have both written books on the same subject for the Second World War:

Nigel McCreary - "The Coming Storm" Test and First Class Cricketers killed in World War Two

Christopher Sandford - "The Final Innings: The Cricketers of Summer 1939".
