Stevend
I’m researching this soldier I know he was wounded 6th May 1918 my problem is I am not sure if he later died of wounds as he is mentioned on the Morayshire roll of honour but looked at CWWGC and couldn’t see anything he came from Findhorn any help in clarifying his death or not is appreciated
Tawhiri
Nothing to indicate that he died on his medal index card, and this is usually noted. I don't have access to the corresponding medal rolls, but again, if he died during the war this would usually be noted. There is also nothing in the Roll of Honour on the Scottish National War Memorial site that matches, the only William Wright that was serving with the Seaforth Highlanders who was killed in action was born in Middlesex, England and died on 19 May 1917, so clearly not your man.
