Mark Hone Posted 31 August , 2003 Share Posted 31 August , 2003 A neighbour asked me to find the whereabouts of the grave of his great-uncle, Rifleman Cyril Moore. I discovered that he is buried at Etaples and died of wounds on 1st January 1916. I assume that his wounding occured during normal trench routine but I would be grateful if anyone has any information about the activities of 7th Kings Royal Rifle Corps around this period. Paul Reed Posted 31 August , 2003 Share Posted 31 August , 2003 The battalion was in the Salient in late 1915; holding trenches around Potizje and/or Hooge, if memory serves me correct.
