Both children died within a fortnight of each other in Novemebr 1918. Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 1 September , 2003 Share Posted 1 September , 2003 You can always visit the PRO and look for his record in WO 363 or 364, if it survived the Arnside St fire of 1940. Try using the PROCAT on the web. It should give you the codes for the reels with the Carters on. Just because you can't see his name, it doesn't mean his file is/isn't there.
