I wonder if anyone knows any further info about the above soldier, apart from that given on CWGC site. Gibson was the Great Uncle to a lady who is helping me look into my grandfathers service on HMS Biter in WWII, and in return i have posted her great uncles name on here in the hope that the pals will be able to provide some more info him. i.e Soldiers Died details, what the 4th Bn Yorks and Lancs were up to in the days before 15/11/1915 (date of Gibson's death).

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Chris

Thank you both Lee and Andy. Although we were aware he lived in Sheffield, we can now confirm he enlisted there as well, and i look forward, Andy, to seeing what the Bn were doing.

Thank you both

Chris
