Lindsey Posted 6 September , 2003 Share Posted 6 September , 2003 My grandfather was captured at the Battle of Asiago on June 15th 1918 and held prisoner of war. I have a photo of him in a POW hospital and wonder where it could possibly be. Where were the men taken who were captured in Asiago?? anyone have any ideas. I believe there were approx 6 captured on that date. His name was William Leslie Lilly and he was in the 1/8 Royal Warwickshires. i do have some documents in German which relate to his capture but after translation they still dont tell me where he was. He died shortly after the end of the war from TB so no questions were ever answered. Thanks Lindsey
