Captain Albert Frank Robson, 10th Battalion, the Queen’s (Royal West Surrey Regiment), died on 24 March 1918, aged 25. He was the husband of Winifred Alice Robson, of 53, Wroughton Rd., Clapham Common, London, and had been an Assistant master at Sir Walter St. John's School, Battersea, London. Albert has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial to the Missing.

Does anyone have any information about this officer, or can anyone point me in the direction of books, memorials, or anything else that might mention him?

Thanks in advance.

I remember looking for a West Surrey history in the IWM reading room about a year ago without much luck but noticed in the latest N&M listing that they have reprinted HISTORY OF THE QUEEN’S ROYAL (WEST SURREY) REGIMENT (IN THE GREAT WAR) by Col. H. C. Wylly (1925).

At £22 it might not be worth the investment for yr purposes but another Pal might have it on their "urgent purchases" list? If you do buy it could you let me know :P
