Private Alfred John Maslen 67357 of the Devonshire Regiment was killed on the Somme 21/06/1918 during a bombing raid at the clearing station at Gazaincourt outside Doullens.Just wondered if anyone knew anything about the Regiment or where I can find details of the area this Regiment fought in also the raid that took place in Doullens.

We have visited Alfreds grave at Bagneux Cemetery. Is sister Kathleen is still alive and still lives in Reading age 91.

Thankyou

Ann :)
