History of Manchester Regiment

I was please to get a very generous reply from a letter I had sent to the Museum of the Manchesters in Ashton-under-Lyne.

David Hopkins, the curator, suggested some website called the Long, Long Trail that would be very helpful to me!!

He also sent me some photocopies of pages from a book called "History of the Manchester Regiment." I am guessing this is Volume II of the one by WYLLY (Col. H.C., CB)??

I wonder if any Pal possesses this book and could reproduce in larger size the illustration facing page 110 that shows 1st Btn at Givenchy. Is it in colour?

I would of course cover all expenses.
