Bob Coulson Posted 4 November , 2003 Share Posted 4 November , 2003 Chris, At the end of October the 7th battalion were in the line from Hooge Stables to Sanctuary Wood. Quote from Green Howards in the Great War, "November passed tolerably quietly but on the 1st Lt C G Weston was killed while in charge of a working party in rear of the trenches at Hooge." Hope this may be of some help. Bob.
