Andrew P Posted 5 November , 2003 Share Posted 5 November , 2003 In memory of No.171 Phillip George Pittaway who served in the 27th Battalion AIF and who was killed in attack in the Flers area on the 5th of November 1916. He has no known grave and is commemmorated on the Villers Brettoneux Memorial. Today is the anniversary of his death, but I'll also be remembering him and his fellows on the 11th next week.
