I wonder if anyone could help me. I'm trying to find out the casualties for 176 Tunnelling Coy for the dates March 14-17, 1918. Also any info on the unit would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

The only real way to do this is to look up their war diary, which is held at the Public Record Office (National Archive).

Anyone going to PRO soon who could do this?

Soldiers died shows two men from this unit on the dates mentioned:

Spr Henry Cookson died of wounds 15.3.18

Spr Albert George Davies killed in action 15.3.18

There may have been more wounded men of course some of whom might have died from there injuries atb a later date.

CWGC reports Sapper Cookson died 16/03/18 and is buried at Maroeuil cemetery NW of Arras. CWGC states "The cemetery also contains the graves of 25 officers and men of tunnelling companies of the Royal Engineers who died in mine explosions".

Sapper Davies died 15/03/18 buried St Nicholas cemetery on outskirts of Arras.

The Tunnelling Histories do not mention 176th in 1918.
