Chris_B Posted 25 November , 2003 Share Posted 25 November , 2003 John Henry Storer's (see my signature) entry on the RNVR medal roll (ADM 171/129) has the following hand written additions: "How Issued or disposed of --- UNIV LEG" "Remarks -------------------------- IC10501/1918" I suspect this relates to the fact that his medals were passed to his widow, my Grandmother. Perhaps someone knows what they mean. ChrisB

Chris_B Posted 25 November , 2003 Author Share Posted 25 November , 2003 Michael, Thanks for your explanation. Is it true that records of WW1 RN wills no longer exist? ChrisB.
michaeldr Posted 26 November , 2003 Share Posted 26 November , 2003 Chris, Sorry; 'Incident' above should read 'Indent' Regarding WWI RN Wills; I've heard a similar story as you, but cannot confirm it Good luck with your researches Michael D.R.
