Chris_Baker Posted 26 November , 2003 Share Posted 26 November , 2003 Can anyone tell me the movements of the RND between June and October 1916. Thanks.
Paul Reed Posted 26 November , 2003 Share Posted 26 November , 2003 If I remember correctly they were in the line between Aix Noulette and Vimy Ridge. There are some of their early dead in the Trance des Mecknes Cemetery, for example. As this is a battlefield cemetery, it is close to where they were at the time. Chris_Baker Posted 27 November , 2003 Author Share Posted 27 November , 2003 Thanks all. very useful stuff. Thanks too for the offer Mike, but your answer gave me everything I needed. On the quiet (I've been working on it for years though I'm probably only a third way through) I am compiling a sort of Divisional movement map/timeline.
